During the 2019 United Nations Day commemoration, the UN Country Team in Ukraine played a pivotal role in mobilizing key audiences to support the Sustainable Development Goals. The 'Be the Change' campaign brought these Goals to millions of Ukrainians in their native language. Eighteen celebrities, boasting a combined 7 million social media followers, each championed a specific Goal, sharing campaign photos and messages. Elle magazine also spotlighted these influencers and their chosen Goals, along with the reasons behind their choices. To boost the campaign's impact, photos from the initiative were exhibited in a Kyiv shopping and entertainment complex, reaching 700,000 people, as well as in the metro, serving 3.5 million monthly passengers, and at the Parliament of Ukraine
